Ukrainian naval forces displayed a range of cruise missile launchers—including Harpoon, NSM, RBS‑15 Gungnir, and Neptune—while President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Odesa region. The display marks the first official appearance of NSM missiles in Ukraine. The NSM, with a range exceeding 500 km in high‑low flight profiles, features stealth design and terminal heat‑ and optical‑guided seekers.

Poland and the United States already operate NSM systems, and Latvia, Bulgaria, Denmark and Romania have ordered them. While no confirmed delivery of NSM to Ukraine has been announced, U.S. officials have said they are considering supplying either Harpoon or NSM missiles to Kyiv.

The event underscored Ukraine’s expanding missile capabilities amid ongoing conflict with Russia.
