The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that an armed individual was targeted and killed in the Jabal zone of southern Lebanon after being identified near operational forces.

According to the IDF statement, the 551 Battalion of the 91st Division fired upon the individual, launched a pursuit, and after extensive searches, brought him down.

The IDF described the individual as an "armed terrorist."
