IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that after the war, extensive inspections in Iran will be essential to ensure the country does not develop nuclear weapons, adding that "intentions are not enough." He confirmed that preliminary talks with Tehran about the fate of enriched uranium stockpiles have begun. Iran has stated that under the final agreement, IAEA inspectors will be allowed to return to its nuclear sites. Grossi added that these inspections will become "inevitable" once the execution arrangements are completed.
