Ukrainian sources said three Russian explosive unmanned surface vehicles approached Ukraine's coastline on the morning of June 23 but were detected and targeted by TB‑2 combat drones. The Ukrainian Navy and military intelligence reported that all three vessels were destroyed before reaching their targets. A defence ministry adviser claimed the Russian drones were equipped with Starlink satellite terminals for long‑range guidance. The use of TB‑2 drones for direct maritime attacks has been rare, making this operation one of the few recent instances of such deployment.
