The Russian Air Force released a video showing the targeting of the US-made short‑range air‑defence system MAAWLR on the Kharkiv front. The MAAWLR is mounted on a light vehicle chassis and includes its own electro‑optical targeting station, though it can also receive target data from external radars. The system is capable of launching a wide range of missiles, including AIM‑9M, AIM‑132, AIM‑120, IRIS‑T, R‑27 and APKWS II, and can engage targets up to 15 km in altitude.
