A new production line will start manufacturing the lightweight, low‑cost Mark I anti‑drone missile at the Riga factory of Rega in Latvia. Initial targeting is 1,500 units this year, with plans to ramp up to 100 units per day (over 36,000 annually). The missile weighs 2 kg, carries a 500‑gram warhead, and has a range of 2 km with a 1.5 km engagement altitude, designed to hunt inexpensive attack drones. It features an electro‑optical seeker and a fire‑and‑forget capability, providing fully autonomous guidance after launch.
Future plans include larger interceptors with up to four times the range for improved regional defense, though exact pricing and comparative advantages over existing guided rockets such as APKWS remain unclear.
