The Russian state company Rostec released a video showcasing its new anti‑drone munitions, called Mingutochi. The project uses a three‑part projectile that fits standard individual weapons and is currently undergoing field tests with the Russian army.

Each bullet is made of a bronze‑like alloy and, once fired, expands to create a larger impact area, increasing the likelihood of hitting small and FPV drones. The 5.45 mm variant has a range of 150 m, while the 7.62 mm version can reach 300 m.

The munitions can be used without modifying existing weapons and mass production has already begun.
