The U.S. Navy announced that an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter from the aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush had to perform an emergency water landing in the Arabian Sea early Wednesday. Three of the four crew members were rescued and reported stable, while search operations continue for the missing fourth.
The U.S. Fifth Fleet stated that there is no evidence of hostile interference and investigations into the cause have begun. This is the second incident involving a U.S. military helicopter in the region in recent weeks.
