The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy issued a statement condemning what he calls "silent" US attacks on the port of Sirik. He said these strikes do not resolve the question of Iranian control over the Strait.
He added that the Iranian navy’s counter‑attacks serve as a clear warning to other vessels, and warned that US bases in the region will face severe consequences in the coming days.
