According to a U.S. official, two Iranian drones were deployed in Saturday's attack on Bahrain. One was intercepted and shot down by ground‑based air‑defence systems, while the second landed without causing damage in a remote area near an airport. The official also said an Iranian drone struck a tanker carrying 2 million barrels of crude near the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, U.S. forces reportedly downed two other drones that were heading for commercial vessels.
