Rostec reported that test pilots successfully completed a trial flight of the Yak-130M advanced trainer/light combat aircraft prototype at the Irkutsk aircraft plant, a subsidiary of the Yakovlev joint-stock company. The flight lasted about 50 minutes, reaching an altitude of 2,000 meters and a speed of up to 600 km/h. Rostec said the flight program was fully executed with no issues identified in the aircraft. The Yak-130M is an upgraded version of the Yak-130 light trainer/attack jet with enhanced combat capabilities.
