Turkey has delivered its first operational Typhon Block 2 ballistic missile to its armed forces. The domestically produced, supersonic missile is a road‑mobile system designed for precise long‑range strikes, and Turkish sources say it will significantly boost the country's deterrence in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Black Sea and NATO’s southern flank. Rocketson CEO Murad Ikinci described the Typhon Block 2 as a key element in strengthening the Turkish army’s deterrent power, calling it an "offensive force of the armed forces" and a "symbol of Turkey’s strength and confidence at long ranges."
