Reuters reports that the United States is advancing a sale of more than $700 million worth of jet engines to Turkey. The engines, produced by General Electric, are intended for Turkey's indigenous KAAN fighter aircraft. A final agreement is expected in the coming days, ahead of the next NATO summit in Ankara.
