Lebanese presidential office reported that U.S. envoy George Vance and Senator Marco Rubio met with President Michel Aoun to discuss a proposal for establishing a monitoring body to oversee a cease‑fire involving the United States, Lebanon and Iran. The officials said the mechanism for such a cease‑fire is under review.
