The International Maritime Organization announced a program to evacuate more than 111,000 seafarers and hundreds of vessels from the Strait of Hormuz after restrictions on the strategic waterway were eased. The organization said it has secured the necessary safety guarantees and reviewed navigation conditions to ensure a fully supported and safe operation.
