Speaker Qalibaf Says Closing Mehrabad Airport Would Have Prevented More Lebanese Casualties

Parliament speaker Qalibaf told a state‑run TV program that he had seen comments wishing Mehrabad Airport had been shut down to stop the negotiation team from traveling to Switzerland. He said that if the team had not gone to Switzerland, more blood would have been shed among Muslims and Shia in Lebanon.
