Israeli Merkava main battle tanks shelled the outskirts of the Lebanese towns of Al‑Mansouri and Beit Saad in southern Lebanon, using artillery projectiles. The strike hit the perimeters of both villages, according to local reports. No casualty figures were immediately released.
