Two Supertankers Enter Gulf of Persia to Load 4 Million Barrels of Oil

According to vessel tracking data, two supertankers passed through the Strait of Hormuz into the Persian Gulf to load about 4 million barrels of crude oil. One of the ships is heading for the port of Basra in Iraq. In addition, two smaller tankers carrying a combined total of less than 2 million barrels also transited the strait and entered the Arabian Sea.
