Reports say the VZPP‑S semiconductor and electronics plant in Voronezh, Russia, was hit by Ukrainian missiles early this morning. Images show extensive fires and thick smoke covering parts of the industrial complex. Ukrainian sources claim the attack was carried out with cruise missiles, causing heavy damage to the facilities.

The VZPP‑S plant supplies electronic components for Russian defence systems, including the Kh‑101 cruise missile, Iskander‑K missile and Pantsir‑S1 air‑defence system. Some Ukrainian outlets claim the complex has been almost completely destroyed, but Russian officials have not yet released official figures on the damage or its impact on production.
