The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported a suspicious incident about 50 nautical miles southeast of Al‑Shahar, Yemen. A small vessel carrying five armed individuals approached an oil tanker, apparently intending to board it. The tanker evaded the boat with evasive maneuvers. Both the ship and its crew remained unharmed.
