Russian officials in the Crimean Peninsula announced that, due to a fuel shortage, private individuals and businesses will no longer be allowed to purchase gasoline. Senior Russian government official Sergei Akseyonov said in a Telegram post that fuel will be reserved exclusively for state services responsible for preserving life and security. The measure follows recent Ukrainian attacks in the region.
