Iranian Security Official Warns of Stronger Response if Israel Stays in Southern Lebanon

Ibrahim Azizi, head of Iran's Parliamentary National Security Commission, warned that Iran will react if Israel does not withdraw from southern Lebanon in line with the agreements between the United States and Iran. He said it is the United States' responsibility to implement all provisions of the memorandum of understanding, including halting the war against Lebanon and the rapid exit of the "fake regime" from southern Lebanon. Azizi added that any breach of the agreement would be met with an Iranian response far harsher than before.
