Micron Technology announced a strategic investment of up to $3 billion to bolster the US semiconductor industry ecosystem.
The company will provide $500 million in financing to GlobalWafers, a major semiconductor wafer manufacturer.
Micron and GlobalWafers have signed a 10-year agreement for the supply of semiconductor wafers.
