Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, stated that Iran's attacks on commercial tankers from Qatar and Saudi Arabia in the Strait of Hormuz, along with repeated aggressive actions against Bahrain and Kuwait, demonstrate that Tehran remains unable to commit to a de-escalation path. Gulf Arab countries can no longer remain targets of Iran's contradictory approach between escalation and moving toward rationality and peace, Gargash said.
