Turkish President Erdogan announced the allocation of an additional $24 billion budget for the Steel Dome project, aimed at strengthening NATO air and missile defense systems.
He called on NATO to lift restrictions imposed on defense industries among member countries.
Erdogan also urged European allies to take greater responsibility in the alliance's defense while maintaining NATO cohesion.
