Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement strongly condemning the US Treasury Department's decision to lift the temporary suspension of Iranian oil sanctions, calling it a "blatant violation of Article 10 of the Islamabad memorandum." The ministry held the United States responsible for all consequences of this action.

The statement noted that less than 20 days after the memorandum was signed, the United States has repeatedly violated various provisions of the agreement, both directly and through Israel's actions against Lebanon.

Iran warned that the Islamic Republic will take any action it deems necessary to protect its interests and national security in response to what it described as "US violations of the agreement."
