Ukrainian forces reported that during nighttime attacks, their drones targeted five power posts and a gas compressor station on the Crimean Peninsula. The facilities hit included the 35/10 kV Chkalov post, the 330 kV West Crimea post, the 110 kV Sakhi post, the 220 kV Komish‑Buron post, the 110 kV Mitiyav post, and the Tasunov gas compressor station. According to Ukrainian unmanned‑aircraft units, between July 1 and 7, a total of 44 energy facilities were struck and destroyed in Crimea and other Russian‑controlled areas of Ukraine. The attacks are part of Ukraine’s effort to damage Russia’s energy infrastructure and logistical support in occupied regions and the peninsula.
