Saudi Arabia has increased the capacity of its crude oil pipeline to the Red Sea to up to 2 million barrels per day, allowing more exports beyond the Strait of Hormuz. The kingdom is in preliminary talks with neighboring countries about the project. The expansion could also include building a second, smaller pipeline for refined petroleum products.
