The Kremlin spokesperson said the Russian government will closely monitor the developments of the NATO meeting in Ankara. He noted that before the meeting, some comparative remarks about Russia had been made.
The spokesperson also stated that Russia remains in contact with the United States and hopes that U.S. efforts to achieve peace will be successful. He added that Russia’s control of Kostiantynivka is a strategic achievement and that it continues to create buffer zones. He concluded that a return to a peaceful path is only possible if Kyiv shows good intentions.
