According to a UK Maritime Trade Operations report, a commercial vessel was struck by a projectile approximately 8 nautical miles east of Liman, Oman. The attack hit the port side of the ship and caused a fire to break out.

A U.S. official told Axios that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired at least two missiles at commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in significant damage to two ships.

Initial reports indicate there were no casualties from the incidents.
