Rutte Calls for 5% Defense Spending Target at Ankara

Mark Rutte, who is quoted as NATO Secretary General, said he expects countries to present clear, specific and realistic plans at the Ankara meeting to achieve the goal of allocating 5% of GDP to defense spending. He noted that European allies and Canada currently spend about 4% of their GDP on defense and security.
