US stock markets have never been more dominant over global markets. The combined market value of US stocks has reached a record approximately $81 trillion, now representing roughly 48 percent of total global stock market value.
This figure surpasses the world's second-largest stock market, China, valued at $17 trillion, by approximately 375 percent. The US stock market is now worth double the combined value of the Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong, and Taiwanese markets.
Furthermore, its value exceeds that of the next 18 largest global stock markets combined. The seven technology giants known as the "Magnificent 7" alone have a market value that now exceeds the entire Chinese stock market. Analysts describe the current scale of US stock markets as unprecedented in history.
