Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel has destroyed Iran's missile factories, military infrastructure, air and naval forces, and eliminated much of Iran's missile production capability. He claimed the country prevented Israel’s destruction, eliminated several Hamas militants involved in the Oct. 7 attacks, rescued all hostages, and killed Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, halting an incursion into the Galilee.
Netanyahu added that Israel has seized key areas in Lebanon used by Hezbollah, destroyed Syrian weapons depots, and will remain in security zones as needed. He said Israel will not allow terrorist groups to establish bases on its borders, and that the country’s military doctrine has shifted toward a more proactive deterrence.
He asserted that despite criticism, Israel’s defense independence is strengthening, advanced technologies are being developed, and ties with the United States remain focused on security interests. According to him, Israel is now in a much stronger position than on Oct. 7, having restored security in the south and planning similar actions in the north.
Netanyahu also warned that the Islamic regime is experiencing an economic collapse.
