Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, head of Iran's parliament and negotiation committee, warned that if the United States and Israel fail to uphold their commitments under the nuclear agreement, Tehran is prepared to resume military actions.

He emphasized that Iran's compliance, including the temporary easing of ship passage through the Strait of Hormuz, is entirely contingent on the release of Iran's frozen assets and the cessation of hostile measures. Qalibaf also stated that Iran will not back down from its regional rights and, should diplomatic efforts fail, is ready to adopt a counter‑approach.
