Israeli security forces have detained a Tajik national holding a Russian passport on suspicion of spying for Iran. Investigators say he collected and transmitted during the 2026 war information such as missile impact sites, locations of Israeli towers, photographs of Haifa port, and attempts to monitor sensitive military facilities in northern Israel. Authorities also allege he actively recruited additional individuals for intelligence missions on behalf of Iran.
