The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned Qatari mediators that it would shut down the Strait of Hormuz again if it did not secure guarantees that Iran would have exclusive control over the waterway.
The warning also said the United States and other nations must cease sailing on the southern route to Oman, or the IRGC would proceed with the blockade.
