Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said on Tuesday that Iran will not engage in new negotiations with Washington until the United States fulfills its obligations under the nuclear agreement. He warned that recent incidents in the Persian Gulf, which he described as violations of the cease‑fire, would be met with a response, noting that U.S. bases in Bahrain and Kuwait had been targeted. While Iran remains open to talks on implementing the five‑point agreement, Qalibaf warned that if the United States does not comply, Tehran is prepared for war. He added that, aside from discussions on the agreement’s implementation, there are currently no negotiations between the two sides.
