A man first attempted to visit the shrine of Imam Hussein at age 18 in 1957, and tried again in 1968, but was barred by the Shah’s regime. Now, 58 years later, he will travel to the shrine to honor his grandfather, the martyr, carrying him on his shoulders as a symbolic tribute.

The visit marks a personal pilgrimage that spans generations, reflecting the enduring significance of Imam Hussein’s legacy in the hearts of his followers.
