CNN reported that Gulf countries, together with the United States, have added several financial institutions and senior figures linked to Hezbollah to the sanctions list for alleged involvement in terrorism. The sanctions, covering five institutions and 16 individuals, were approved by members of the Center for Counter Financing of Terrorism, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
