The Israeli Ministry of Defense and defense contractor Rafael have completed new Iron Dome trials aimed at validating recent upgrades derived from lessons of the latest conflict and operations targeting Iran. The system’s performance against rockets, cruise missiles and drones showed marked improvement. The enhancements feature the integration of a high‑energy laser, dubbed "Aur Egan," designed to boost interception rates during heavy attack scenarios.
