Ukraine says that about 90% of the cruise missiles and drones used by Russia contain components made in Japan. According to Denis Brashuk, an adviser to the Ukrainian president, internal documents list 13 Japanese companies that supplied electronic parts for the Kh‑101 cruise missile. Ukraine has urged Tokyo to tighten export controls on dual‑use electronic components to prevent their transfer to Russia via third countries. Kyodo News reports that none of the companies have accepted responsibility, and some say they cannot confirm the origin of the parts with the information available.
