Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian refineries, fuel depots and energy infrastructure have intensified a fuel shortage across the country. Restrictions on gasoline and diesel supplies have been imposed in dozens of regions, driving up prices, creating long queues at service stations, and disrupting transport, agriculture and emergency power services.

The Russian government is reportedly considering further restrictions or even a ban on diesel exports to meet domestic needs. Kyiv says the long‑range attacks aim to weaken Russia’s logistical and economic capacity by targeting its energy infrastructure.
