The estimated costs for each component of Operation Khamsa are as follows:
1. Deployment costs: $170 million.
2. Ammunition used (including offensive and air defense munitions): $26.1 billion.
3. Increased operational cycle costs (maintenance, overtime, special mission fees, additional deployment costs): $750 million.
4. Equipment losses: $1.7 billion to $3.5 billion, depending on damage to fuelers and aircraft such as the F‑35 and A‑10.
5. Damage to U.S. regional bases in the Gulf, Iraq, and Jordan: $4 billion to $9.4 billion, due to limited data on the extent of damage.
6. Fuel, maintenance, and other ancillary costs during and after the operation: $1.5 billion.
The total cost of Operation Khamsa is therefore projected to range between $34.2 billion and $41.5 billion.
