Russian MiG-31BM Escorts Tu-160 Over Barents and Norwegian Seas

In a record‑breaking flight, two MiG‑31BM interceptors of the Russian Aerospace Forces escorted strategic bombers Tu‑160 on a 16‑hour mission over the Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea. The mission was refueled in flight, and despite operating in international airspace it was fully monitored by NATO fighters.
