US Central Command says it struck Iranian missile sites after drone attack on Singapore-flagged vessel

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it carried out strikes today against Iranian missile and drone storage sites and coastal radar installations in response to a drone attack on the Singapore‑flagged cargo ship M/V Ever Lovely on June 25. The vessel was targeted while exiting the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast. CENTCOM called the attack a clear violation of the cease‑fire agreement and a threat to the freedom of navigation. The command added that U.S. forces continue to coordinate safe passage for commercial ships and will monitor full compliance with the agreement.
