Hezbollah parliamentary deputy Hassan Fadlallah told Al-Miyadin that Lebanon’s government lacks the capacity to carry out the Washington agreement and that without Hezbollah no deal will succeed. He warned that Hezbollah will block implementation and retain its weapons, accusing the United States of sabotaging talks that were initiated by Pakistan. Fadlallah described concessions granted by the Lebanese government as a "gift to Israel" and said they would have no impact on the ground, cautioning Benjamin Netanyahu not to rush in publicizing any achievements of the agreement.
