US Air Force Prepares Nuclear Warhead Integration for New Sentinel ICBM

The U.S. Air Force is preparing to integrate a nuclear warhead onto its new Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center released an initial notice outlining proposals to work on the reusable Mk21 missile and the W87-0 warhead for the Sentinel system, which is slated to replace the Minuteman III ICBM.
