The U.S. Secretary of State stated that no money has been transferred to Iran to date. He added that the United States will not take any steps or make any commitments that could undermine the security of its Gulf partners. He also said the Iran reconstruction fund has not been discussed with Gulf countries, and that Gulf states do not support imposing fees or taxes on traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. Oman likewise said it does not back any passage fees in the Hormuz Strait.
