Lockheed Martin Prepares First Flight Test of AGM-158 XR Cruise Missile

Lockheed Martin said it is preparing the first flight test of the long‑range AGM‑158 XR cruise missile for the U.S. Air Force, targeting completion by the end of 2026. The XR variant is an upgraded version of the JASSM/LRASM family, featuring a roughly 1,000‑pound warhead and a significantly longer range than current models.
