A satellite image dated 23 June shows the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN‑72) sailing about 140 km off Iran’s shoreline near the coastal town of Tis in the Kangan area. Analysts note this is one of the closest recorded approaches of the carrier to Iranian waters.
